CLOS JEAN ALESI

CLOS JEAN ALESI

Jean Alesi, famous former Formula 1 driver has chosen Fabio Novembre and his Studio to create the new graphic design of Clos Jean Alesi wine.

A former driver of the Ferrari racing team from 1991 to 1995, beloved by many fans of the red car today he has become brand Ambassador of F1 and has recently been chosen as advisor and ambassador of the French circuit Paul Richard where his career with the premier class began in 1989.

Just 150 kilometers from the track where it all began, Jean Alesi has been taking care of his personal winery for twelve years in the heart of the Cotes du Rhone, an area famous worldwide for its wines.

The production of the red wine Clos Jean Alesi is joined by the new Rosé, made from vines taken from his personal vineyard in Avignon.

November studio designed a coordinated image inspired by the Casale, a typical construction found in every vineyard in the Rhone Valley. The project included a rethinking of the label with a focus on the link between land and wine.

The concept behind the project refers to the skyline of the countryside surrounding the production area, particularly representing the silhouette of the facade of the chapel present in the vineyard surmounted by a wrought-iron cockerel that stands out on the roof. The previously used element is recurring in the brand’s coordinated image and is featured on the bottle of the new Rosé Clos Jean Alesi as a representative symbol of the vineyard.

The colors of the sunset are shown on the label through a gradient reminiscent of the rosé tones present in the wine that are interrupted by a clear cut that defines the horizon.

To tell the refinement of the wine, gold was chosen as the color for the fonts, which in contrast to the pink brings out the brand’s elegance in line with the brand’s aesthetic.

The label thus wants to celebrate the relationship that unites the brand with the territory by bringing the colors of the Cotes du Rhones not only in the flavors of the wine but also in its new graphic design.
