Being asked by our daily newspaper to think about newsstands’ survival, it was a challenge we couldn’t decline. Corriere della Sera is one of the main symbols of Milano: solid credibility in the liquid flow of information. And Italy is the country that defined most of the classical orders in architecture. We couldn’t resist taking a big Italian architectural certitude and adopt it for reinventing the typology. Our newsstand magically turned into an arcade, a living space capable to answer to all the needs expressed in the brief: strongly iconic / extremely flexible /engaging and connective/sustainable and easily feasible.
