Lapsus

The bed of Freud is the most representative piece of furniture of the last century, and it is no coincidence that Le Corbusier in 1929 created a design version of it. A Persian rug covered the original bed, layering symbols. The carpet is an interpretation of the universe: separates an inside from an outside, one on top of the other. Has dimensions (ie order), has borders, frames and magic pattern, in this case, realized with the Rorschach inkblots. In Greek mythology, the fate is woven through the feminine weft and the masculine warp: we are the mortal vehicle of a virtually immortal substance…but this is not a Lapsus.
