Driade | 2020

Going back in time, in Homer’s Greek poem, Nemo is the name chosen by Odysseus to deceive the cyclops Polyphemus. In order to escape the danger of death, he comes to call himself Nemo, means nobody. A name used as a mask, to hide its own identity. If we wear this object it makes us the same, but also reminds us how different we are. Nowadays the diversity characterizes our time and that is considered the most powerful resource of the human being. It highlights an idea of collectivity that goes beyond any wall and reminds us that we are all part of the same race, the human race.
