Podium for Riva1920 |  2018

At the 1908 Olympics, in the Cathedral of Saint Paul in London, the Anglican bishop Ethelbert Talbot pronounced a sentence that Pierre de Coubertin would later render eternal: “In sport the important thing is not to win, but to participate”. Wood is historically associated with the first position off the podium, which is why the short circuit was inevitable. A wooden podium that rewards everything we like, without fixed hierarchies, with always new and participated classifications.
