FABIO NOVEMBRE

After Il Design spiegato a Mia Madre, Il Fiore di Novembre and the homonym monograph, the book Novembre a Milano born as a tale through images, a story of the binding relationship between Fabio Novembre and his adopted city. Signed by Alessandro Mendini, the preface leads off a journey that crosses and charts the city linking years, places and projects: from the sculpture Sky Baby realized in 2005 to the two solo exhibitions at the Rotonda della Besana and Triennale of Milan in 2008 and 2009 passing through the urban installation Per fare un albero and the recent one for the Milan municipality on the occasion of the Expo Shanghai 2010.
A book focused on the city, on urban installation and community projects characterized by the use of images, a strong graphic design approach and die-cut pages. Divided in two main sections, exhibitions and installations, both with backstage pictures, Novembre a Milano is first of all a sincere and deep homage to the city.
