Novembre Studio was chosen to design the “Residenza San Rocco,” a housing complex located in the context of Lake Maggiore that draws inspiration from the traditional Lombard Court.
The building rises from the historic oratory of San Rocco dating from the 15th century, and frescoes from the period still survive inside. The “Residenza San Rocco” is in continuity with the old historic building, which has been enriched by the presence of a modern detail, a curved pitch that completes the courtyard and frames the view towards Lake Maggiore.
