Milano Creative City Installation

Municipality of Milan | 2010

In the novel Elective Affinities, Goethe was already talking about the red thread in the sense of conductor thread, expression adopted afterwards also by Freud to define the unconscious. The red cross on a white field, which from the beginning of the XI century is the symbol of the City of Milan, was born from the intention to merge the red of the nobility with the white of the people. But the titles of contemporary Milan are linked to creativity and acquired with merit, not with the right.
The Milan red becomes the colour of the creative nobility and is worn with naturalness by the masterpieces with which we want to tell the story of our city.
A dynamic history in which the idea of the movement of Boccioni chases a human figure dressed by Prada. Their horizon is a spatial concept of Fontana, the needle eyesight through which to see a historical dinner imagined by Leonardo da Vinci, to which to feel invited waiting for Milano 2015.
