San Vittore| 2021
Triennale Milano collaborates systematically with different realities in the city area. With the competition ‘San Vittore, Space To Beauty’, attention is drawn to a crucial theme: the rethinking of the spaces housing the prison. Through the project, the intention is to outline a new concept of the prison with the aim of changing and renewing the perception associated with this place. Starting from an overall reflection on the structure that considers the importance of beauty and the spaces that house it, San Vittore aspires to regain its centrality in the prison and city context. The aim of the project is to invest in the beauty of the spaces in order to transform imprisonment into an opportunity for growth in dialogue with the outside world and to generate a sense of common and constructive reflection.
