Fabio Novembre has edited for Lavazza the book “Yes! We’re Open”, the celebratory volume of the last 10 years of Calendari Lavazza where environmental and social sustainability have been the focus and have been the leitmotif of the company’s commitment.
The book, published by Electa, is organized as a journey around the world that tells places and people protagonists of the last 10 years of Calendars. Introduced by the Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, punctuated by the interviews made by Mario Calabresi to the ambassadors illustrated by Yann Kebbi, key projects of the Lavazza Foundation and the shots of some of the most important photographers in the world.
The ideal of the journey is shown in the artwork on the cover by the Master Emilio Isgrò and is also reflected in the internal aesthetics through the use of elements characteristic of travel books, where photographs are taped onto pages yellowed by travel and time.
